SegenSolar sells and distributes a large range of Photovoltaic (PV) solar equipment to installers and resellers across the UK, EU and South Africa. The Segen group is formed of Segen Ltd (UK), SegenSolar Pty (South Africa) and SegenSolar GmbH (headquarters in Cologne, Germany). SegenSolar GmbH actively conducts business in Germany, Sweden, The Netherlands, Belgium and Poland. Our expansion across the EU is rapidly gaining steam. We are driven by creating relationships with our customers. Our unique in-house systems and data reporting allows us to compete globally, gaining market share and customer loyalty.

SegenSolar has ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Our goal is to achieve these by acquiring new customers and renewing dormant relationships. We seek confident Account Managers to expand our reach in the Benelux. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in identifying new sales opportunities. Must be comfortable making multiple calls and/or visits per day, accurately qualifying opportunities, proposing solutions and closing business. This role will be based remotely with support from SegenSolar GmbH headquarters in Cologne, Germany.

 

Core Duties:

  • Process, qualify and develop New Business, mainly from your own book of contacts.
  • Engage and revitalize dormant accounts from our database (90 days+ since last order).
  • Cold-call prospective solar businesses.
  • Create accounts and enable customer access to our unique reseller portal platform.
  • Successfully onboard new customers with training on the Reseller Portal and how to work with SegenSolar.
  • Ensure Trading Applications are accurately completed and sent to Finance to complete account registration.
  • Competitive selling of our products, solutions and services.
  • Accurate data entry on the company CRM including company information, contact details and customer desires.
  • Excellent internal communication with Technical Support, Order Processing and others involved in order fulfilment.
  • Achieve pre-agreed targets and deadlines.
  • Provide consistent market and product feedback to management.

 

Requirements:

  • Native or fluent in at least one of the Benelux languages with a professional level of English. French or Luxembourgish is a big plus.
  • Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills. Desire and ability to build relationships with clients.
  • A positive attitude and desire to work in a sales environment. Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Competency with computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Legal right to work in the EU. Visa sponsorship is not available.
  • PV solar experience with a book of customer contacts.
  • Residence in Belgium, Luxembourg or southern Netherlands is preferred.

The Account Manager role is a mid-level position where literally ‘the sky is the limit.’ At a minimum we provide a competitive salary, uncapped commission package, car allowance, comprehensive ongoing training and critical market data. As this position is remote, we provide the technology necessary to succeed and have daily contact through Teams. We have aggressive plans to grow so opportunities for advancement are expected in 2026.
